Hi everyone, i need to speak to someone... I was thinking this is a great place to start. I have been waiting for my car for a long time now. And today they told me my car is ready in Weisach (did I spell that right?) BUT I CANT HAVE IT. not for TWO MORE MONTHS!!!. I never thought that a grown man like me, a father of three children (two of them are boys), would get so emotional about a ... ITS NOT A TOY!.. car. Anyway, if you know how I feel, post something. If you don"t, I will know.
Oh, my real name is Stan. Its been almost two years since I sold my 1990 C4 Cab. I just really miss it.
Cheers

If they had a Yellow Coupe, I'd take it off the floor. I am also planning to drive it in canadian winter. Thats why it had to be a C4S. My therapist was right, talking about it makes it better.

There are a handful of unsold yellow C4S coupes in North America at dealers. They did suspend the Tourist delivery program.

What reason did they give you for not shipping you the car?

Weissach in Vancouver?

Why two months?

We're getting a car for them from Park Place today.

Call Asgar and give 'em hell.

Isn't Weissach the motorsports test center?

Assembly for regular P-cars (non-RSRs and RS Spyders) is at Weissach IIRC.

None here. And to bring any car from the States we need to pay cash, no credit. As for the reason for the delay, turns out europeans love themselves more than we do: they on vacation for the month of August. Everything closes except for hotels, restaurants and shops, etc.. Its getting closer though. 6-8 weeks more.I' ll post pics the moment I get it, promise.

I ordered my car early September 2006, Production was completed 11/14/2006. I did not receive the car until 1/18/2007. At the time it was beginning to drive me crazy, but after I got the car (my first Porsche!)
I forgot the wait and just enjoyed the ride. Hope yours crosses the pond faster than mine did.
