I had no idea there were such good deals out there. I was happy with the 12%e, but ~$85 for a $112k car, thats a good 25% off - I can't say no. Hopefully someone knows of a car siting around at a dealer thats willing to take some cash off.

call Bakersfield Porsche in California they have a C4S Launch car with PDK
tell them you know about the back end money and it should be in the low 90's-high 80's.
See what he says. dont know if they have the buckets or not. They might have just sold the
seats.

OldGuy, thanks for the tip, I'll call ASAP and see what they say. If anyone else has a dealer in mind, I'm all ears.

personally.. putting in some leg work is the best route... when i was first looking in april i went on the porsche website, searched by state starting with mine and worked my way out calling each dealer.. asking for sales and just bull****ting about discounts and prices and see what they would go to.. just call and ask if they have the c4s launch and if they do, work from there.

I know, I've been enjoying my car for about 7 weeks now. I did the numbers and it wasn't much difference!

I'm not going to hold out for any super sales, but if I can save $10k just by going through another dealer, I'd be crazy not to. I talked to my local dealer again and told him that there were some other ones out there for less, and he still was standing firm on his 12%. If I can find something in the high $80's, I'll go with that. Otherwise, even if I get something for $90k, that's only an $6k savings (shipping, etc) and I'd be buying a car site unseen from thousands of miles away. You would think in these times, a dealer would be willing to sell a car that's been sitting on their lot for a year at any reasonably price someone is willing to take it for.

The deal in Bakersfield was like 92K for a 114K car. I would talk to Trader or see if Brian Hughes in Bakerspatch can help you. If they sold the seats make them order some and put it back together.

Cut a good deal at another dealer and tell your salesman the deal you got. Give him one day to match or beat that deal. If he doesn't do so, buy elswhere.

Agree with gota911. As soon as you convince the local guy you are doing the deal elsewhere they usually get religion.

There are too many of those identical "C4S Launch" cars out there NOT to be able to get a smoking deal!!
They are just sitting gathering dust and flooring

I have a quote pending on a C4S launch car out in Cali. There are a TON of 'em out there at inventory. This one has sweet add on black Tech Arts though. I'll let you know what they quote as a reference.

Its not that simple for the dealer to get you that extra 10k off and many of them flat out wont do it they dont have the need or want to take on another car in inventory.

Default C4S

I bought mine back in April, C4S launch car with bucket seats, PDK, full leather and some other options, MSRP 112K, 19% discount at the time. My dealer had the car for about 4 months I think, he said he couldn't move the car because of the seats. The seats were perfect for me plus a very good discount back in April.
I think you can do the same if not better now. Keep looking.
