Shift Trim, Shifter, and E-Brake Upgrade - done!
#33
Resurrecting this -- I am trying to remove just my e-brake handle to give it a polishing (preferably out of the car) as it is the aluminum piece and has some pitting/scratches. I don't want to remove the entire console so I am wondering -- how is the e-brake handle actually secured? Any tips for removal of just this piece?
**Edit** found on another forum that I can just twist and pull forward with a lot of might to get this piece off. Will try later.

First of all thanks a lot for the very clear instructions.
I can imagine that mine "leather place" will ask me to send them only the parts to be trimmed, that means removing the center silver PDK surround/"gaiter".
From the pics I cannot understand if it can be detached from the part to be leather covered in an easy way.
In porsche diagrams I see that they sell only the "coupled" parts.
