2008 C4S Cab v. 09 C2S Cab

I posted a similar query at 6speedonline but I was hoping to get a second opinion as this is huge purchase for me.
In a nutshell, what is a better choice:
Purchase a new w/ unpunched warranted 2008 C4S Cab tip (white/cocoa/cocoa) with an MSRP of 120K for 80K with 1.9% PFS financing.
OR
Purchase a new 2009 C2S Cab PDK (meteor/black) with an MSRP of 112K at 90K w/o the 1.9% (cash or bring in 3rd party financing).
If "none of the above" is the right choice, please feel free to share.
I live in SoCal and despite a good amount of effort I have not been able to get a dealer to offer more than 20% off MSRP on 09 C2S Cab PDK (If you know of any offering better deals please let me know).
My initial impression was that the 08 C4S Cab tip @ 40K off MSRP was a steal, but perhaps I am mistaken. I have no preference for AWD btw.
Any opinions would be much appreciated.

Both seem like unreal deals. Very different cars though. Which one do you prefer? Same options otherwise?
The '09 has more horses, DFI, PDK. Is all that worth $10K?

I read the post @ 6speedonline - gotta agree with Larry - that '09 (with the options you listed there) sounds like great car and a very good deal.
Plus, you prefer Meteor/Black anyway and that would be my choice too. Much more insight on that other post - do the '09 - only downside is that I hate that I didn't get that car at that price.

The consensus seems to be that the 09 is the way to go. It is just hard walking away from $40K off MSRP w/ 1.9% (yes I know its now a "used" car even though it only has 21 miles) and paying more for the 09 with less options and w/o the cheap $. At the end of the day its about a $16K difference.
I am waiting to hear back from the GM to see if they will my last # on the 09, apparently the Sales Manager doesnt have authorization to go that low. Does that sound right to you?
Also, anyone out there support the purchase of the 08? The silence is deafening.

Tip vs. PDK is a no brainer. And because you're in SoCal, you won't see the benefits much of the AWD. On top of that, there's numerous improvements in the 997.2 vs. the 997.1.
At 20% off they're probably selling the car at a loss. Perhaps the sales manager has to talk to the owner to see how bad he wants to move the car.

I agree, that sounds like one the best deals I've heard about.
