Does anyone have any information regarding a time line for orders placed Jul01 vs an expected build date for a 2010 997.2 ?? I understand summer holidays alter the start up timing for the new year builds. I'm also unclear if given the current state of affairs with Porsche could in some way hender the production schedules ??
thanks .

He meant your subject line refers to 977.2... when it should be 997.2

all dealers have received their allocations for the first 6 months of the '10 fiscal year (august thru january production). if your dealer can't give you a production month it means he doesn't have an allocation for the car you want. you should have an order reference number by now. if he can't give you one, find a better dealer.
Does "OC Ben" refer to Orange County where I assume you're from, or "Obsessive Compulsive Ben" which is more attuned to the tenor of some of your posts??
