pcna meeting this week in dc
Rumor alert: i have it on good authority that there will be no more programs or promotions until august 2009. My local (as close to dc as possible) tells me that 2010's wont be released until all 2008 and 2009 has been sold/disposed of. Hence, i have noticed a significant amount of dealer inventory being dumped into demo status, and put in the pre-owned stock list. Hard to try to get rid of inventory.
As an aside, Had my kids with the in-laws for the day. My wife wanted to go look at pcars. We went to two of my 4 local dealers with cash in hand to buy a car. We had prior knowledge of a few very aggresively priced CPO cars with very low miles. Each dealer had newly traded 2007 and 2008 CPO C2S and C4S's. The first car, a 2007 C2S coupe (62k) sold five minnutes before i got to dealer number one. I then drove to dealer number two. The 2007 C4S (68k) had sold to a phone buyer ten minutes prior to my arrival. Oh and the 2008 C4S with 3000 miles that was traded on friday had sold before my arrival as well. I have never lost a car like that, let alone three...in one day.
We then decided to eat lunch in Georgetown. I missed three prime parking spots to other drivers...it was not my day.

well Adias...the CPO cars with actual miles are selling...the 2008/9 stock in DEMO are not..at least not yet. Although the 2008 C2S at 20k off is begging for an owner....with 55 miles on the clock.
