Would like to hear feedback regarding others that have had this software installed. They claim 10-20 hp and 10-15 ft-lbs gain and software must be coupled with a cold air intake. .

They also have a switch which can remove the software and restore it back to stock software.

Would Porsche service centers be able to tell if there was a new software uploaded and flashed back to stock software??

This is a hotly debated subject that has been covered dozens of times here. Try a search on "software" in the 997 forum and I bet you'll find your answer. Also try searches on "giac", "softronic", etc. to see opinions of a variety of software products.

Here's a non-PCAR data point; Had a GIAC dealer flash my son's 04.5 VW GLI 1.8T over two years ago. Nary one check engine light and performance has been as advertised. $500 for 30-40 additional HP...great deal/great product.
