Post White 2008 997S Modified by SharkWerks

Hey guys,
This local 2008 997S came into to us a short while back for an extreme make-over. As far as power goes, every bolt-on possible was installed, including our light weight flywheel kit. The Bilstein PASM coil over kit, sway bars and choice aero parts were also added along with some HRE C-21 wheels. I thought it was a neat car that many of you would enjoy.

First things first, the EVO V-Flow intake is installed along with the RSS Plenum (which reduces turbulence):

On goes the EVOMSit performance software calibrated for the light weight flywheel and 91 octane:

The restrictive stock headers are prime for a set of longer-tube equal length EVO replacements.

A full performance exhaust system is also installed along with the headers:

A pair of larger dual tips are also installed for a more aggressive look:

The stock suspension is removed in favor of the Bilstein PASM Damptronic (with H&R sway bars) kit and lowered by 1.5 inches:

Off comes the transmission in preparation for a light weight flywheel installation:

The stock flywheel is now ready for removal to be replaced by the single mass SharkWerks light weight flywheel kit for better acceleration:

In she goes along with a 50% weight reduction in rotating mass!

Originally she had the Rinspeed INDY front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper and wing installed. The front was later changed to the more aggressive factory 997GT3 bumper:

There she is with the Rinspeed rear bumper and wing:

19 inch HRE C-21 Competition wheels were chose in a brushed/clear finish with polished lips:

Here she is on display wearing her "SharkWerks" badging at a local car show:

Here's a video of the car in action:

Looks great but the front bumper looks like not GT3 but OEM aerokit.
Anyway, looks fabulous!

Well kinda/sorta... In 08 the rs/gt3 pricing was sky high and the cars unavailable so he stuck with what he had and these mods certainly fall far short financially still

Did you tell him he'd have to take all that off to get any warranty work done?

Except for that,, nice result.

Cars with this level of modification usually put down mid 300s to the rear wheels on a dynojet. He's not a drag racer so not yet
