I didn't find them that bad to clean, especially compared to the Sport Designs on my previous car, and my current Champion RG5B's.

Beautiful car SY-997.

Thass booful, SY 997! I don't think I've seen a new 997 I didn't is beautiful. Especially now that I'm driving the heck out of my two-week-old cabrio.

Enjoy, enjoy!

Nice ride, btw Saturday mornings back parking lot in Santana Row is an informal meet of car guys who routinely drive up to Alice's for lunch.
What time is the usual Santana Row gathering?

Thank you all for the kind words and welcome.

I'm impressed that several people could tell the pics were taken on Skyline Boulevard. I drove up Page Mill Road (twisty with no bikes that afternoon), passed Alice's, stopped at the vista point near Thomas Fogarty Winery, stopped again at a turnout near Hwy 92 so I could get the Pacific in the background, then coasted down 92 in 3rd gear and kept perfect pace with the car in front. A pleasant "mountain road" break-in.

The wheels will be "fun" to keep clean. At least they won't be as tedious as the 72 spoke Dayton wire wheels on my Jag!!

BTW, I went on a hike a few weeks ago with a guy who works for the Mid-Peninsula Open Space Preserve, and he showed me "Methesula" - its an 1800 year old (!) redwood literally a few yards from the Skyline roadside. I've driven by it hundreds of times before and never noticed it. Not sure I could find it again, but its just a little south of Kings Mtn Road.
