Do you guys really like wide asses?

I have found they grow quite rapidly once the warranty runs out....

Number one attraction? More car... in the 997.1 at least:

two gas tanks, L and R, though they fill through the same port
two brake boosters and pre-brake loading at throttle off
monster grip on dry uneven pavement... really freaky level of grip
monster grip on slippery pavement... got caught in a snow storm on in my '06. Passed everybody.

but, most importantly, that big wide *** and those fat 305 rears that just look FANTASTIC.

On the 997.1 the front drive shaft goes through real estate in the car where the one piece gas tank would be in a C2. To allow for the front drive shaft the C4's have two piece gas tanks, one tank on each side of the drive shaft for balance, and the C4's carry more gas by volume when full compared to the C2's.

I haven't done a detail research on the 997.2 though because I'm not buying anything but a 997.2 GT3.

That's the problem, there is no warranty. A prenuptial agreement
is our only protection.

+1 on the "winter package". I have a 997 C2S cab which never sees the snow (except this once). At all other inclement times, rain or snow, it's an 01 E320 4Matic wagon, with winter tires for any condition. And that one has a nice rear end too

There are certainly exceptions to every law.

That is why you must have girlfriends instead of wives.
However, you do have to make sure you get rid of them every few months to avoid the lethal trap of common law marriage.

I know that is mean, however, so are wives when they are driving away in your 997 with the title to your 997.

I like the feel of AWD in the dry, you don't get a lot pull from the frt unless you start to push it and then you get the grip........I have a couple of twisty roads, where I can feel the difference between 2WD and AWD - for me, it's great. I appreciate why the C2S folks love the way their car handles, but I just prefer the extra grip. I don't know about real advantage in the snow as the car sits low and becomes a plow ....in the looks dept, I love the stance and those wide hips
