Carrera 4 owners how to disengage front axle

First, on the original topic, you guys who think this works give it a shot and report back. No way I'm testing it on my car.
Second, many of us bought 4S cars because we need AWD. If you haven't seen Coochas' pics of Boston winter, then maybe he needs to repost them. I deal with 4-6" of snow several times each winter, so AWD is a must. I had a C2S before and I loved it - however, if I moved back to SoCal and didn't have to worry about weather, I'd just get a GT3 and be done w/it.
