The clear rears might look better with a lighter color.

I wonder if the spare tire can be stored in Pre-10 cars (ala Coochas spare tire).

I have an ebay spare (that I hope fits over the big reds) with all the tools thrown in the front boot- I wish there was a proper way to secure same - there does not seem to be an opening or bolt point to put it in though but there is a depression on the floor that allows it to fit

It's highly unlikely that after coming out with a brand new rear lens design that they would change it after only one model year run. Heck, not even Chevrolet does that anymore.
They certainly did just that in 2000...

Speaking of MY2010, whats the soonest people have been able to order builds for? The soonest I could find here on the east cost was a build date of December.

Yes! It's well known and it can happen again.

To OCBen: Note that on that configurator the clear tail-lights is an option and a pricey one. So some shots may show it, others not, depending on that option being selected or not.

In 2000, the 996 changed the tail lights to clear. It was not an option, I believe.

Here are some additional pictures.... It doesn't appear to be an image loading error.. The original image I posted was to show the Aero Kit without the clear tail light option selected. These should help...

As far as I see it the clear tail lights are an option. I tend to prefer the std ones.

I thought I saw on some country configurator an option for a spare tire, but now I cannot find it. Did anyone see that?
