Default Squeelin like stuck PIG!!

Gettin ready for the Apex/ RUF day at the track this Saturday and changed out the OEM front brake pads and slid in the Pagid Yellows. IF any of you Pcar owners have Pagid Pads - you know what the squeal is all about...but the car stops on a dime...then picks it up!

Lookin forward to tearin it up this weekend. Hope all the regionals can make it.

Frighten trucks at the stop light.

Car alarms go off.

Freak out pedestrians.

They are loud, those Pagid Yellows.

Did you change your fluid to Motul or SRF Castrol?

These are not street pads and do not stop as well as street pad wile driving on the street. You have to get the Pagid RS29 Yellow's up to temp to really feel the benefit of these pads.
The stock Textar pads that come with your Carrera S are Pagid pads but designed to work on the street. In other words the stock pads stop better when cold and they do not squeal. On the track under hard threshold track style of braking the Yellows will last longer and stop better.

Thanks Mike - I am well aware of the Pagid Yellows - I switch them out yesterday before I go to the track on Saturday - Just funny when you are street driving...testing brakes around the shop, on the way to and from the track....OH THEY HERE YA COMING...Like a trash truck. Hope all is well with you.

All is well...my Yellows do not squeal too much when I first put them in and drive over to the track....but...after a track day on the drive home is a different story.

I swap pads too...so dang easy.

Don't feel too bad about it, my Audi's brakes can he heard from half a mile away, and they're just the stock ones.

Back from the track - springs and brakes felt great on the track. Yes, squeeled all the way home
