The spolier rises to cancel lift - it "spoils lift. At high speed stability is increased. The 997.2 GT3 actually produces negative lift, i.e. downforce. On the track at 150 MPH my C4S was perfectly happy.

Save the money on the PCCB's....stock "S" brakes are awesome, especially if you use a good brake fluid. Plus, if you really get into the track, you can simply swap out pads on track days. Also, with the money you'll save, you can eat Maine Lobster for 4 years......
