Dension "Gateway Utility" - Does it Exist?

Hi All
In the Gateway 500 manual, it refers to a "Gateway Utility" which is "to assist with manual database regeneration" for USB drives - i.e. a utility to help with the generation and management of the database which is used for storing the folder names, artist info, albums etc..
Does anyone know if this utility actually exists? DB generation on my 100GB drive seems to take ages, and I have to redo the whole thing whenever I add a CD.
I've asked Dension directly, but had no response yet and wondered if anyone else had come across it.

Database is generated by the GW500 upon connecting your USB key to the GW unit. It does create a file.
That file is generated automatically upon connecting and using the USB key on the GW500. Your file size (100gb) is likely too large for this auto feature to be meaningful. I wonder if you split it up on two drives if you could load it faster....

Hi Eric
It's a 100GB drive but with about 50GB of music on it - I just copied my whole Music directory across. Part of the appeal of the GW 500 is the ability to use USB devices - i had a HD lying around. In general, it seems to work OK, but the list of all of the playlists is slow to load, and the db regeneration seems a real pain.
Have you come across others with large disk drives attached to a GW 500 - is this really a viable option?
