Doesn't Techart offer LED kits for the 997?

Techart does them, but they put the LEDs in the spoiler. If I was going to do it without changing the entire bumper, I would buy these from SpeedART.

I did some research on this just a cpl of week ago. Basically we have no good option available. Best looking/OEM fit and finish is BY FAR, Techart, but that's in the bumper. Speedart looks like Civic lights on a Porsche and I wouldn't do it even if it was free, and at $1500, that's a joke!

Wish there was a solution, I am sure it's not hard to do... but currently we're out of luck (unless you wanna go Techart).

unsure why the link didn't work for you. I just clicked on it again now and it works for me. Yes, it's 1,500 for the part. They can keep it. I think the only way I would do it now is if I decide to upgrade the entire bumper. Anyway, just go to the www.gmpperformance.com site and look for 997, lighting and daytime running lights.

Click. Get the error message. Then go to the URL window of your browser and delete the last five characters that say &VS=1 and it will work. They are not as good looking as the dot two's factory version, but they don't look tacky. YMMV of course.

Just the other day I received a copy of Randy Leffingwell's 911 Buyer's Guide and in it he writes that a rear tail light will cost you $253 (997.1) and $519 for the 997.2 cars. What a price growth!
