Default Golf Clubs--Do They Fit?

How are you putting your golf clubs in your 997s?
It looks like the 997 is more suitable for carrying tennis racquets
than golf clubs....

You're right. The only way I get them in is to fold the back seats down and lay them crossways.

You can get two bags in a coupe if you lay down the back seats. It's a little tight and I would recommend throwing a towel or something down to protect the trim. It's easily doable though. (Just did it yesterday.)

You can get two bags in a coupe if you lay down the back seats. The easiest way to maneuver them is to fold both front seats forward while putting them in. It's a little tight and I would recommend throwing a towel or something down to protect the trim. It's easily doable though, in fact I just did it yesterday. I used two normal stand bags. I would imagine a cart bag or something bigger would be more difficult.

Keep them at the club. I bring them in the car twice per year.

when i bought mine they said fold rear seats and lay across, that is the way they are designed to fit... works perfectly..a second set fits too if top down otherwise hard to get it in.

I don't own a driver. I admit my deficiencies.

if just one set, u can have the clubs ride shotgun with you... just use a towel/sheet to protect the areas... easier than having to negotiate the bag into the back... just move the passenger seat all the way back and put on the floor and lean back.... if putting them in the back seat, easier to remove driver and 3 wood... hopefully u dont carry a "ball retreiver..."

coupe; as noted, two bags in back. also you can recline the front seat but if you drive briskly (late for your t-time) seatbelt them in! nothing like a 5-iron slapping the back of your hand on a .9 G turn.

cab, lower the top, remove driver (and if you have a ball retriever, stay home) and fits easy. front seat as above.

targa; easiest of all, lift the hatch and have your way. or front seat.

better yet, quit golfing and start tracking!!!
