Cool PASM + LSD for 2009 PDK Base 911

Just coming back from a test drive on a C2 with PDK and I really enjoyed the feel of the base car. I would like as much composure and contact as possible. Will the added option of the PASM + LSD help the car remain more planted or is the base just good enough.

My only deterent is the fact the base cars factory setup is kind of on the 4X4 side and may lift at speed. Ive read some other posts regarding a floaty feel. May order in the near future. I would like it to remain stock. I thought about coilovers but I'd rather have everything from the factory.

You will only notice LSD at the track or auto cross. If you plan on doing either of these type of events I say get Sport Chrono Plus w/ LSD. You will need and enjoy this option.

I also got SPORT PASM too and enjoy the lowered suspension too...looks great too.

The base 997 PDK is quite a combo and handles quite well

Check out and attend PSDS and firsthand will experience what a base Carrera PDK is capable of.
Much more comprehensive than a dealer test drive.

Then there are Hot Laps in a Carrera

The level of instruction at PSDS is the best you can get in the world.

I did a few local DE's and then did PSDS and came back a different and better driver. I basically finally "got it" and brezzed through the driving ranks with PCA and Chin.

I now get to use some of the instruction techniques I learned at PSDS with my students and track events. If I had the money I would go back many times like MJones does.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes of course the PDE will be a top priority once we get the car.
