Default Track Suspension for my 997S - Advice

I have decided I want to upgrade my stock suspension, its just not cutting it on the track anymore (TOO MUCH UNDERSTEER and not enough turn in).

I have decided to go BIG and get a double adjustable sport/race suspension.

2 options:

1. JRZ RS Pro
2. Moton Club Sport

Both are external resivior shocks, with nitrogen and very similar.

I'M LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCE FEEDBACK ONLY!!!!!

1. Which did you choose an why?
2. Is one more reliable or requires less maintenance?

Thanks

Why do you want to go that route?

The shocks will not help your understeer / turn-in issues.

GT3 Lower Adjustable Control Arms will do much more for you!!

GT3 Lower Adjustable Control Arms will be part of the replacement.

I drove my friends car that is the exact same but has full suspension mod.

It was a night and day difference on the track!

I'd suggest some of these types of solid arms/bushings etc...

At least as a starting point... then see what/if you want to change.

u just need more camber and a better alignment to fix the issues you described.
if you want better suspension, i have always chosen moton CS over JRZ. i have 6 sets of motons on different cars. i like them b/c moton has always given me great after sales support. i needed zero maintenance. i chk nitrogen level once a year, never had air or oil leak.

Im going to go with the following:

JRZ RS Suspension
Eibach Springs (800/900)
GT3 Cup Car Control Arms
Toe Links
Bump Steer Kit

This way I can:
- Get negative camber to -3º (minimize understeer)
- Lower car to ROW height/track height
- Minimize roll and rebound on the track (better turn in)

Good chatting to today and as I was saying you can't go "wrong" with either per se. I've owned/installed/run both and I do think in the US the support for Moton is better but go with what your local shop has used more often (in your case JRZ). At this level there's no "good and bad" and it's all in the set up. Just keep your eyes on them and inspect the parts every so often.

On my trip to Sebring a couple of weeks ago, I drove my friend's 997 C2 with JRZ shocks, Eibach Springs, GT3 Cup arms and a sway bar kit. When I got out of his car, I was really pissed-off because I realized just how much better his setup was compared to my Bilstein Damptronic kit (w/ GT3 arms & H&R Sways). The handling was clearly superior and the ride was unexpectedly comfortable (on mid level damper/rebound). I believe his spring rates were 500/600 though as it's his daily......your 800/900 are going to be very stiff. I've been to 3 different tracks with him and his car just eats-up anything he throws at it (plus, he can drive).

Moton and JRZ are both top knotch.....I agree with the others that you can't go wrong either way, however you might want to look into a stiffer sway bar kit as well.
