i don't understand all the vitriol. http://www.apa.org/topics/controlanger.html
personally, i view the Panamera as being more similar to an E63, not an S. only dictators take turns fast in an S class.

no worries. i ask my wife the same thing.
afterall, she married me. she MUST be dumber than i.
i am up working. b/n reading contracts, i am on RL, else i will fall asleep.
sleep is such a waste of time. i will do plenty of that when i am dead. ok, back to work now.

Well, that may be the price point where it ended up, and/or the market they feel has the most potential to purchase the car...I do know a couple of older guys (late 60s) that have both S-class AMGs and 911s in the garage, and more telling, both had 928s back in the day...but I maintain that in terms of size, weight, purpose, and avant-garde styling, the CLS63 is the closest German rival. The S63 is almost a foot longer and 300lbs heavier.

It's a Porsche, damn it! lol
Oh and shouldn't this thread be moved to where it belongs? The Panamera forum?

this car (the TT version) will smoke an S63. on the track even the NA version will. the big sedan doesn't stand a chance. it's lower and feels like the CG/CR is MUCH lower.
Alan, it certainly feels like it's far more than a couple hundred pounds lighter, but i didn't see any scales.
