The factory (in 06) system with option 666 was not well thought out for the US market. Anyone forced to swap a SIM card a few times will tear their hair out, just to get the "factory solution." I went with TOOKI and in retrospect, would do it again as it works pretty well, for the most part. They had a few growing pains but the set up is pretty stable today. Installation is not that difficult for anyone who is reasonably skilled. I did my own installation.

I don't use the phone that often so i just purchased a pre-paid SIM card at Best Buy and forward my cell phone to that number when I'm in the car.
