Supple Leather Seats - Good, Bad, or Ugly?
Does anyone have any thoughts on the supple leather seat
package on the 997? How does it look and hold up in the flesh?

I'm sure there will be multiple opinions on this, to each his own! I personaly think they look worn out at day 1. When I was shopping for a used Pcar, my two must haves where regular leather on the seats and manual transmission.

IMHO i dont think it looks good in a 997. Looks like it belongs in the panamera or a Lexus. It's soft and supple though. Not sure about wear.

I'm sure the leather is comfortable and of high quality, but I don't want the sofa look in my 911. It's a totally subjective question, though.

Not at all for me, either. Doesn't look like a sports car seat.

They look pretty good to me.
But I'm more interested in whether or not they're more comfortable to sit in over a long haul than the standard seat surface.

Had them in my 993. Not a fan!
I made sure my 997 did NOT have them. In my opinion, it doesn't belong in a sports car.
