2009 C2 or 2009 CAB S ? What would you do?

If you think there's a possibility of you kicking yourself when you see someone else driving a cab, then just go for the cab. You'll be leasing it for a few years and it's a lot harder to get out of it early than if the car was purchased. I love convertibles, so the cab will be my choice after my lease ends in 3 years.
If you're already looking at a C2 and like it, and want to stay within your budget, why not get a C2 Cab instead of a C2S cab, which is close to $20k more than the C2?

Good point. My dealer doesn't have a C2 CAB, or else I would have jumped at it this weekend. I was in the buying mood. After I exhausted my BOXSTER S search, it pointed me in the direction of a C2 CAB except there were none at the delaership. i could have him do a locate I guess, and as long as it's not too far distance, will that impact my price? probbaly i guess...

-If you like Sunday/pleasure, scenery, cruising driving, get the cab.
-If you like performance driving (no body flex)/track driving, get the coupe. An S coupe would be a bonus.

If the difference is only a $100 per month, I would pick the Cab no doubt.
However, it sounds to me even at $1000 per month you are stretching it already. No offense and I do not want to come across as a snob (I wear Kirkland white t's and jeans on my day off ), but why not buy an used one and put an aftermarket headunit in it so it will suit all your needs (nav, bt, ipod). Used 997s deals are everywhere!!!

Cabriolet all the way! Instant vacation the moment you get behind the wheel and drop the top.
I've spent hours today planning our summer road trip vacation in this car. My version of an RV.

My Dodge Ram 2500 is my daily driver. Arctic Silver is nice, but too plain. I like the Aqua much better. Neither colors are my first choices, but that's what I mean when I mention making compromises to get a deal.

Did you catch the TV show "Orange County Choppers" when they built a bike for the Dodge Dakota brand? Brilliant pick with a lot of cues from the truck. Beaut of a truck...

jk, would you consider an 08? One dealer has an 08 black on black S cab...MSRP 108 for 25k off. gohttp://hennessy.porschedealer.com/2008/Porsche/911+Carrera+S+Cabriolet/Roswell/GA/Black/black/399405/info.php. Has nav and am sure you could add the others. Dealers ship anywhere.
I have to wait for a few months as well to get my car, I want white and am looking at a white/black C4S cab. Good luck in your search!

Apples and oranges... Personally, I only like the 911 in the coupe form. Designed as a coupe and then modified to take the roof off. Granted, many love their 911 cabs. My solution was that we have both a 2009 C2S (recently completed at the factory to replace my 07 GT3) and a 2005 Boxster S. I like the Boxster as a cab because it was designed that way, is light, nimble, fast, etc.
For $104k you could get both a 2009 C2 and a CPO Boxster S...
