Mike, how are you going to get the heat shrink to fit and stay inside the socket? I just can't picture how you Will able to accomplish that.

It's the inside of the sockets that mars the finish of the lug nuts, which is why I posted the link to the Boothe Design soft socket. Then you could paint and seal the lug bolts and probably avoid any scratches if you used the soft socket.

I have a black 4S and want to do my wheels black (19" LF's) what do you guys think? All matte black or leave the edge polished? Wish I could see pics both ways on a black car first.

Looks 100 times better than the stock silver wheels. Love the look. The black exhaust tips look awesome with the wheels too. Good job!
