I am considering putting silver "Carrera-S" decals on my black aerokit C2S to spruce things up as its 2years old now and with the recession Im thinking of hanging on to it for a little longer. Im 75% of the way there to ordering X51 - just now debating if I should haggle in a set of decals to close the deal.

Done anybody have a picture of a carrera S (2 or 4) with aerokit and the OEM "Carrera-S" decals. Any colour combos appreciated.

Failing that can anybody p-shop my car (below) to put them on please?

thanks - thats certainly more than Id managed to find so far myself by looking and certainly helpful.

However it this not an OEM 997 decal - the line going through the word "carrera S" is thicker than on the OEM and the font used is a more curly - the OEM 997 decal looks more modern than this one to me and much better on a 997. Ive got a feeling this is a 964 decal?

Still the overall effect is good. One of the lads at work has put together a silver OEM decal paintshopped onto my car so Ill post it later when I get home to guage opinion on what people think.

Keep in mind Adam that's an 06 or 07. Not a 09; Porsche changes things up a bit. Let me hunt somemore. There's a guy on here who has a 09 in Yellow with the Carrera on the side. Let me find his name....

Yes I think he has posted me a pic of his car on rennteam.com (I put the same posting there too).

His car is deffo an 09 C2S with a black OEM decal but unfortuatly its not got aero - I was hoping to get the full effect together in one pic.

ok done a proper search of this forum and found bella1's car which seems to be the closest thing to what Im looking for yet.

White C4S with OEM decals and aerokit.





Looks pretty damn nice IMHO.

Now just to find that perfect C2S in bassalt with aero!

Adam, I took the first pic you posted and created a negative image and darkened it to simulate black with a silver script. It is not great, but at least it will give you a decent idea of how the set up would look on a black car.

man...to each his own, but why ruin a perfectly awesome sports car? decals in general are hideous. Decals on black are just plain not right. What's next? Are you going to get one of those "coffee can" muffler exhausts? :-)

Still I do know what you mean and thats why Im canvasing opinion. Still I love the aerokit (wouldnt buy one without it - hence why Im still holding off placing an order for Gen2) but again some people love aero and some hate it. I guess aero is rather bling too - but perhaps not as bling as aero and decals... ??
