What's special about a launch edition is that it was a demonstrator, more likely to be abused and not properly broken-in.

I don't think there is anything about a launch car that makes it any more or less valuable than a similarly equipped later car of the same year. The launch cars do pick up the early misbuild issues. In the case of a 2005 I think the only thing I recall is a rear control arm bushing being installed backward. The great thing about the 2005 is the Gen II PCCBs.
