Default opinions needed-oz wheels

anyone want to opine on the merits of using O.Z. Ultraleggera HLT 19s with PSC tires for DE events. The offsets appear close to factory wide body, made with low pressure cast construction, weight is good at 21.6 f/24.8.

I have the Superleggera IIIs on my GT3. I like 'em. Not the lightest but strong.

thanks, do the OE centercaps fit? Your wheels are forged, these are cast so are likely not as robust.

They would be fine for DE, however I would most likely go with 18's though due to tire size choices among other things.

good point mdrums, what are you running on 18s and does anyone want to comment on the offset for this rim?

I had a set of CCW 9x18 front 50 offset and 12x18 rear I used for the track. I sold them and the 07 Carrera S. I have a new Carrera S and will be getting a new set of CCW wheels...probably C10 model in the same sizes.

I looked into the new OZ allegretta (spelling?) and they only come in 18" but after I received a message from Damon at Tire Rack it seems the offsets are not what would be the best but I need to call him back and speak with him because these wheels cost a lot less than forged CCW's and many other forged wheels and would be fine for DE's.

depends on the width of the wheel but for a 9" front 50mm and a 12" rear 60mm. John at CCW knows how to set you up.
