It's tested out pretty well so far, but there are some issues with different vehicles. Not yet sure this will fly on 997/987, but will on Cayenne. More to come.

all in all probably not a big deal. i hacked my pioneer nav in my M3 to play DVDs while driving. I used it once and almost fell asleep while watching a movie. Never again. What's the point, so your passenger doesn't get bored? F em, let em stay home if they wanna watch a movie.

If you spent as much time as I do waiting here and there to collect our children you would understand.

Also, if I follow your logic correctly what's the point in having a car that does 180+ mph, I would doubt you have done this even once so what's the point !!! Let em stay at home and use the Play Station I guess would be your suggestion.

Eh, not a lot of cars go 0-60 in under 4 seconds that DON'T go 180+ mph... I've definitely done THAT (0-60) at least once

But you're right, I don't have kids yet. Maybe when I do, I will yearn for DVD in the car. So I dunno.

Not possible on North American cars...sorry guys/gals. This ain't gonna fly. But on some Euro cars, indeed, it's the cat's meow.
