Just released by Dension. If you have the Dension Gateway 500 iPod integration kit from us, you may want to update your firmware. Just visit our site and click the Links tab at the top, download the firmware from there.

This is the newest version 2.16 that will soon allow video display to the front PCM screen (with special new adapter, coming soon). If you do NOT have PCM, it's still a valid update for your ipod integration (and bluetooth if you added it).

Aside from video, what does it do? Also, how can it possibly play video on the PCM screen? The screen shows like 8 colors... will this actually work?

Hopefully it'll stop the gateway from locking up and losing the AMP and Navigation until I shut off the car that started with the last update.

My start up screen shows a nice little Porsche Logo in more then 8 colours. The display isn't as nice as the latest iPod's but it is still an LCD.

Was your car ever programmed with PIWIS? Sounds like it needs it.

I'm hoping it fixes the bug in whatever version I loaded last where the track length of the playing song never changes from the first time it sees when you start the car.

Actually it's just 3 colors - Red, Green and Blue. It just looks like more.

Just curious if the Dension GW500 is now working with the current model iPod 120G Classics? I remember reading it had problems putting the newer iPods to sleep?
