Should be fine with all ipods. That was over a year ago. Apple worked out one kink in its firmware, and Dension produced an entirely new cable (comes with all kits now). Should be no issue.
So....if you have an older Dension and a newer iPod, and the iPod cable to the Dension has an end in any color other than blue, you CAN update your Dension using the newer cable (on our order page), and update the Dension with the latest firmware.
And of course, email me with any questions anytime.

Thanks Eric, yes I do have the older Dension cables as I got it 2 years ago.
So does that mean even though I have been updating the Dension GW500 firmware using the USB key, I should still upgrade to the new cable or my setup would not work with newer iPods?

Ok thanks, no adaptor available to make the cable swap easier? I don't think it is that easy to remove the existing cable and I do not want to bring it back to the installer. Too bad the setup isn't current iPod compatible. I guess I will stick with the older iPod and not bother upgrading then. Thanks.

Pretty simple, assuming it was installed in the standard fashion with GW500 in front trunk, cables through grommet in firewall and into vehicle. Just feed the new cable through and done. Yes, may take a few minutes with a second set of hands, but very straightforward.
