Default Cocoa on black, what were they thinking?

Porsche gives us infinite freedom to spec a car any way that we want. This can lead to some real disasters. We usually think of the color black as being complementary to any other color. I think the one exception is black with brown. The car shown below is currently listed on ebay and in my opinion is the equivalent of a black tuxedo with brown shoes. Good luck selling this disaster.

The George Gobel saying was " Did you ever get the feeling that the world was a tuxedo and you were a pair of brown shoes?" The original buyer of this car should have listened to George Gobel.

Different strokes, I guess. I love it. Cocoa in person has a very rich look.

A buddy of mine who was in the car business always used to say "there is an *** for every seat". I guess to each his own.

Turbo is Basalt Black, you should see it in person before you condemn it, very sharp...ask me how I know

I guess I should not condemn something as subjective as color choices. It just seems that this breaks some basic rules of design though. Not for me.

OK Marco, I'll bite. How do you know?

I think that combo looks great, of course to each his own and I respect your opinion as well.

Cocoa does not photograph well. Although it's not my choice, I would bet that this combo looks better in person.

I don't see how it clashes any worse than sand beige or natural brown does with black. Not a fan of the top, though.
