Saw a Boxster S on the Ventura Freeway today. Black with a Gray top.
Not a combo I ever would have thought of...but, it looked great!

If the top were black, I think the interior leather being dark brown would be tolerable. Having said that, in the scheme of life, one could have worse problems then owning a Turbo 997 Cab. I'd instantly exchange my NA 996 for a turbo 997 brown top and all.

While the color combo is not my first choice, it is definitely not bad.

If you wanna see bad, someone should post the link the thread of the mint green 996tt with mint green interior.

Actually, the line is "there's a seat for every *** and an *** for every seat".

Personally I think that combo is sickening.

OK Marco, I'll bite. How do you know?
I didn't buy it.... but I do work at the dealership that has this turbo. These pictures do not do it justice, it is an attractive color combo and a nice alternative from the the extremely common triple black.

I like it but than again I have a brown car. I think what causes the polarization is the brown top that some may think clashes with the red rear light cluster and brakes. Keep in mind that whoever posted the pictures cranked up the saturation. The brown and red should be more subdued in person.

OMG!!!! The green ruins that car. But my 7 y/o daughter wants a pink Porsche when she can drive, so I'll have to withhold comments on the pink. Who knows, with a new top, maybe that's "her" car in 9 years!

the brown top is not good, but I love the cocoa interior regardless of exterior color.

Your car is not Brown!

Its macadamia.

I'm thinking some photoshop on that "pink" turbo. The top of the lower part of the spoiler is still white.
