I used to put them around the wart, but too often they would end up flying off the dash when you take a faster corner and it was leaving small scratches in the leather. So I quite that and toss them in the glove box.

From my seating position it is too awkward to open the door pocket or center console bin while driving, but the glove box is perfect for me.

Or SPLAT for short. You can adjust them to fit anywhere you want to keep them.
