I almost bought a used 964 at night and in the rain, many years ago, I thought it was dark blue, next day when I returned in the day light, it was Purple, no wonder it was so cheap....

 

I bought a 1992 Amethyst C4 once in the rain, and I was sober. When I got home, I found the PO's doobie in the ashtray and numerous paint imperfections. I thought is was an expensive lesson, but 10 Porsches later it really wasn't!
