Default 997.2 Sport exhaust - New pics

A bit ponderous looking but I'm sure it will sound great.

Not really that much different from the single photo shown. All the narrative description applies to the existing PSE as well. I'm sure they had a bit of tuning to do to get some sound out of the DI engines,--as that was the first thing I noticed when test driving,--very quiet, and not 'fun' sounding enough!

It really needs it, the stock exhaust sounds like crap compared to the PSE on my 996.

That looks really weird! Looks like four hot dogs in buns.

I'd like to see the underside of the car to see the guts of the new PSE 09 system.

I did the Fabspeed side muffler by pass on my 09 Carrera S and now just use the center muffler only and the car sounds awesome plus I lost about 50lbs of weight in the rear too!

I never liked PSE... $2500 for no performance, just added weight, complexity, and "fake" sound. Sort of like how I feel about the intake widget that changes the intake sound.

Instead, I'm going to do a primary bypass (nicer sound, not too loud, no drone, lighter weight), haven't decided on which one yet. For $2500 or less I'll be able to get not only a true sport exhaust, but also Softronic software to make everything optimize better. Probably be in the 25-30 HP/TQ range gain this way based on results coming out.

I like Sharkwerks' primary bypass. It seems to do the same trick and costs a little less. I just can't see myself speding $2500 for something with no benefit.
