Default Order Status Codes?

Received confirmation of my order for a 2009 C2S and thought I'd share it to set a baseline for future order placers. Interesting screen shot - haven't seen one of these before...

Order Reference #######
Allocation Period A08 03/01/2009 - 03/31/2009
Model / Type 997 120 2009 911 Carrera S
Dealer ####
Order Type CUSTMR Customer Order
Order Status MFGCNF Mfg - Order Confirmed Pre-Production
Price Type RETAIL Pricing Status AVAIL
Port of Entry NEA Northeast - U.S. Delivery

Of course there's all the typical options list, pricing, etc.

BSEMDL BASE 911 Carrera S
BDYCLR D2 Aqua Blue Metallic
TOPCLR D2 Aqua Blue Metallic
INTERI AP Black Sport Seats
OPTION 342 Heated Front Seats
OPTION 810 Floor Mats in Interior Color
OPTION P77 Leather Sport Seats
OPTION 509 Fire Extinguisher
OPTION 022 Instrument Dials in Black
OPTION 498 Delete Model Designation
OPTION P17 PASM Sports Suspension Package

Dealer explained that PCNA is putting a priority on customer ordered cars, so while I'm currently scheduled for production in March, it's likely to be moved up to February. Makes sense as dealers really don't want more product on the lots.

I remember hearing that there's a way to track your order, but can't find anything on google. I thought only BMW had that system, where if you wanted to track your Porsche, you had to contact the dealer. Anyone know?

I don't think there's a way for customers to track incoming Porsches; stoppie gives me updates on where it is in the process though. Last I heard it was waiting for safe passage across the Atlantic.

No way for the customer to track the order.
The dealer/salesperson can do it for you. Only takes a moment on their VMS

Codes really have not changed and can be found here:

Check with Eric the Plug Guy too - he seems to have some good scoop about ordered cars.

Ron, looks like ours will be siblings. I hope my March gets bumped to February, too...

Hey Alan, so you went with the 2009 C2S, eh? The GT3 is on it's way to CA (a movie star bought it).

Will still keep my eye out for GT3s closer to home for the next couple months, but the truth is a C2S will fit my needs better. I went as extreme as I could (sport buckets, sport shifter, and sport PASM) and with Alcantara seats/wheel/shifter/e-brake to get as close as possible to a GT3.
