Finally ordering Black on Black 09 911 C2 with PASM
I have rscrched for months and this is what i decided upon
Black on Black 09 911 C2 with PASM
A) Base 911 - I think 09 basse power /TQ is very close to 08S and thats good enough for the street
B) 18" wheels for quieter highway ride and little more compliance on rough roads
C) PASM- Comfy in normal and ability to stiffen suspension for better control around turns/highway ramps etc
Options
1) PDK- Love the dual clutch
2) Sport Chrono Plus- goes well with PDK
3) Black Adaptive Sport seats- Comfy
4) Parking assist- parking lots etc
5) Dimming mirrors- Convenience at night due to ess glare
6) Heated Steering Wheel - have it on bmw 5 series, like it
7) Heated Seats- same as above
8) Universal audio interface- IPOD
9) Bluetooth- Very useful
10) Storage compartment with Model Logo - to add some style
11) Muti function Smooth leather Steering wheel- PDK - convenience for bluetooth, volume adjustments etc
12) Rear center console - black- for some gloss in the car
13) Full Leather - never thought I would care for it but when i saw it it looks really rich and gives an upscale look to the car but 3k ouch

Find out for sure what "full leather" covers because it doesn't cover that much. You will have to carefully go through the ordering guide to see what is NOT inclusive to a "full leather" interior. Full leather isn't what it used to be.

Looks like your research came up with some fine selections. The adaptive sport seats, chrono plus and Full leather are all on my list as well. Exciting times for sure.

You'll love the Black/Black If you haven't owned a black car like this, you'll need to study up on light in-garage cleanings as well as how no to scratch this finish.

what does sport shift give you in a PDK car?

There's no such thing
How can you have a short shifter kit on a car with PDK? Unless this is another Porsche build screw up...
But..."sport" on Sport Chrono will give you faster shifts, shorten throttle pedal travel, stiffen suspension if you have PASM, and loosen up PSM.

Doesn't need it w/ PDK!
Can you get PASm with 18" wheels? I not not sure you can. 19" wheels with PASM in normal mode is soft anyway. However I got the Sport PASM..lower to the ground and stiffer and the car rides like it should...it's a sports car.
You should sit in the Active Sport seats before you get them. Some think they are too hard some love them. I have the Sport seats and find them more comfortable than the stock seats I had in my last 2 Carrera S cars.
Options are a very personal thing and with all the sport type of things you are getting why not go ahead and get the S version. Bigger better brakes, PASM is standard and more power is always nice!
Since we are all giving our opinions here I always wonder why anyone would need the bake up sensors on a small car like a Porsche Carrera? I have never ever had any trouble parking my Porsche's in a parking lot. This is an option I could see someon ewanting on a much bigger and longer vehicle. judging distance for the 4 outer conors of a Porsche is super easy...never had an issue myslef.

great build - i agree the base is so close to the S in hp & t - i had a staff memeber chart it out at key rpm levels between 2500 and 6000. it really is close.
what about the small carbon package? the stock dash trim is pretty "basic" and the shifter is nice in carbon. i know you have to stop somewhere though.
full leather is awsome and it does cover a lot of stuff, at least on the CDN builds.
finally the brakes are now technically IDENTICAL on the base and the S. only the colour is different now.

Really great list of options there... The new PCM is brilliant and welcome to 2002 on the iPod connectivity Porsche!
Funny thing about the heated steering wheel... I didn't know we had it until the boys kept turning it on for me (yeah about the 5th time it wasn't so funny dan!) during every drive suddenly my hands would get sweaty
