If so we don't see many of those out here. I kinda like the lines of the targa and on the 993.

Yep decided to switch to a taga after driving it for some time with the roof retracted and also with the roof closed

I also liked the Targa 4s ride and power and handling was very impressive too
The Targas 4s put the broadest smile on my face so decided to ask the dealer for a T4s allocation

You'd save some serious coin by finding one thats close to what you want and buying it. Its also a good idea to go take a look at all those options. Park Assist? do you really need it? Self dimmers? come on.

Pick out whats most important and I can tell you whats out there in the country.

The OP and I chatted yesterday. Given that he has decided on a Targa, due to the limited numbers of them, it is almost impossible to find one optioned the way you want it. For one thing, I found when looking for mine that half of the ones for sale are red for some reason. With the number of possible combinations of colors, options etc, the chance of finding the right Targa is almost 0. Since he plans to keep it for the long term, and possibly lease it, I agree with his decision to order the right one. I was lucky when I purchased my 07 when 10 months old, and saved a bundle. I had to go 400 miles to get it, and would have gone further if necessary. But of course there aren't any 09's on the used market yet.

I totally agree that you wont find one with all those options. You may find one close and the dealer can sure discount one in stock a heck of a lot more than one he builds.
