Tim .... it appears it will .... and all you would need is the lid frame, not the wing inset.
But, my guess that's gonna be one of those $3,000. Porsche parts .... and at that price ... consider other rear lid options.
Oh hey ... take a guess what Porsche parts price is on the strip if red plastic (that I now ruined).

$650.

You should have simply bought this car,--they left it off by mistake.

Seal only avail as 'Paint to Sample' for 09.
Meteor replaced it (Meteor with a bit of a brown fleck) ...... and Atlas Grey (quite a bit darker).

'Delete of quad tips' is option 499.
Kinding of course ..... ordered regular ovals from Suncoast ... it's a 2 minute replace of course.
Anyone want a new set of quads (or a C4 rear hatch )

I agree that the oval tips look better. Plus, the quads are a sham, except on PSE cars, since they imply there are 2 exhaust pipes on both sides when in fact there is only one. Of course, the real sham is these cars like Honda Accords that have one exhaust pipe running back from the engine, then putting a Y in it to allow an exhaust pipe on each side for the dual exhaust look.

It's no sham. The exhaust probably benefits from a larger exhaust tip area and that can be a accomplished with an oval or a Y with 2 pipes. No one is implying that there are 2 separate pipes all the way to the headers.

Well, in the "good old" days, 2 exhausts usually meant a split manifold on straight blocks, or separate manifolds on V-type blocks, with separate exhaust pipes to the rear of the car. I expect the performance benefit from a larger exit/tip size is not measurable. In many cases these days, it (multiple tips) is done for the appearance of performance, not real performance. That is why I consider it a bit of a sham.

However, back to the OP, I do like the clean look of the oval tips, and would prefer it if they were used on all of the 997's except those with PSE that need the separate outlet. Just my opinion.
