I had to laugh when I read in Christophorus that the PCM system has been honored with the 2008 Use-ware Award by the Association of German Engineers. The article describes how "Porsche engineers are consistently attuned to the needs of the customer". Too bad it takes them 10 years longer than anyone else to translate those needs into their (expensive) cars (in regard to the PCM interfaces). I wonder if the Lexus engineers received any awards for their effective user interfaces developed and implemented years ago.
