%%^^##$$ Nail in my tire....
This is seriously like my 4th nail in under 12K miles...I am not sure if the 305's are just like nail magnets, or if it is simply my crappppy luck, but aargh, I am getting frustrated. Since I am not DE'ing for the next few months, and since these tires (P-Zero Rosso's) not good formuch more than 8-10 K rears (at with the way I drive...:-)), I will plug for now but man o man Very frustrating! Am I alone in this one gents?

I've picked up two nails in my right rear. One didn't cause any loss of air until it was pulled. Had the tire patched from the inside each time. More nails/tacks/screws live near the right edge of the road and the right front tire seems to set them up to penetrate the right rear. Maybe it just seems like we're getting more punctures since Porsche ditched the spare tire.

The compound of these tires is soft for tackiness and grip, that also enables nails to penetrate easier. The right rear is the most common due to debris in the side of the road and the front tire will launch the nail or screw into the rear tire like a gun.

Right rear punctures mean you might have a habit of cutting too close to curb and running over debris field when turning right. Also, always drive in the common "tire lanes." Never cross line and drive with two or four wheels on shoulder and even avoid crossing centerline as much as possible.

2 rear tire punctures in 1 year, 6000 miles. One of them a side wall; hence, had to order a new tire. Never during apex practices. In addition, in south Texas we have to worry about chipped windshields. Both my Cayenne and my 997. On the 997 already replaced the windshield when I first drove the car home. Quite expensive, about $700.00.
