There are several manufacturers of Fuchs-like wheels. Mike Lindsey in Oklahoma City will weld up the centers from 16x6 Fuchs alloys onto up to a 17 inch rim and Performance Products sells a CAST Fuchs replica. (I know Mike personally and know his work to be first rate). The friend of mine in California who has obtained the rights to "Fuchs" is actually going to be manufacturing a fully FORGED Fuchs alloy in our sizes. Because of the offset differences (since 1989 and the 964) they had some engineering design issues to overcome but they have accomplished that. I have to reiterate that they look really good, having seen them on Caymans, 997s and 997 TTs. As an old fan of the Fuchs design, I'm waiting for the day I can get a set for my own 997, particularly if the weight savings is what is anticipated.
