If it does not deploy, you will receive an error message on the speedo....Simple...No message...It's deployed....

You would feel it if it were not working. That back end starts to get awfully floaty without it when you get to 100!

from a previous post by me:

1) superglue a police whistle to the spoiler, listen for the sound as wind blow thru it when the spoiler goes up
2) turn on cruise control, stand up on drivers seat and look out sunroof to see spoiler
3)put a picture of a naked girl on the underside of the spoiler, if you see a Ford F150 following you, the spoiler is up
4)tape Viagra to the spoiler, if the spoiler goes up on its own, the viagra will not be used
5)roll the car onto its bad and then back upright, see where the road rash is on the spoiler
6)hire a neighborhood kid to get on his skateboard and hold onto the rear wiper, accelerate to 75 MPH and see if the spoiler breaks his grip
7)drive backwards at 75, if the spoiler goes up, it will act as an air brake and the car will slow down
8) run a hot wire from the ignition to the spoiler and back, creating a closed loop circuit , if the spoiler goes up, it will break the connection and the car will lose all power at 75MPH on the highway

Q: How do you know if your spoiler goes up?

A: You're still alive after a high-speed run.

when the car begins to air-borne at high speed, you know your "wing" is working.

When I come across a fuel truck on the highway I sometimes will punch it up to 75 just to see it come up in the tanker's chrome reflection. I can also feel the car handle differently when the spoiler deploys.

Very easy to verify.

Find your local interstate speed check.
Drive past a 120mph.
When pulled over, ask the officer politely if your spoiler was properly deployed.
