Default Yellow Gauge faces for 997

Anyone have a source (other than Porsche) for yellow gauge faces for 997? I'd like to just replace the black tach gauge face - online searches turn up only 996 and earlier. thanks.

I like that - not sure which database on my car stores the user preferences!

That is in-freaking-credible! Do they send a hooker out to do the install?

And you thought paying $860 for painted gauge faces from the factory was high!

Default update

I found a couple of places that have 996 yellow gauges (around $135) who said they have the 997 versions coming out around January. I think I will hold off on spending $1000 - for a couple of months - I still can't get over that!

cargraphic also makes OEM quality faces at a slightly better price. I bought mine from RSS, the US distributor

There's a guy in the UK that does it. It's about 200 bucks per gauge, including shipping. I warn you however that it's a real pain to do as you need to zero all gauges and in my experience that takes a couple of tries and each time you have to remove/replace the dash etc...
Are you sure that the grand quoted is not for everything including install and shipping? There's at least 2 hours of work, $50 of shipping, etc. so if there are 4 to 5 gauges to do, a grand is not way off - having said that, I loved the output on my dad's car - I did a silver look on his as he has a silver car.
On my 964 RSR race car we did a yellow tach with the raised rev limit and it looked great!
The guy in the UK also will write whatever you want in the gauge -e.g. your name, your license plate, whatever.
They have the software to do it and then just "print" whatever it is you want. Pretty cool stuff actually. The dude is hard to pin down as he's very busy with porsche etc and runs his own design studio but if you want to reach him, his name is Julian Reap at Reap autodesign and his number is +442088632305

Did you ever get your 997 guage faces? What were some of the other places that had better prices? Thanks.

Sounds a bit like an Italian makers option you're looking to do...

I had the same idea, but with black dials, yellow pointers and the tach the only one yellow with red pointer.

Gee, where did I see that before... hummmm

When you get it done, post a few pics, I'm sure we'd love to see them!

still haven't found a place to do the yellow tach. Every place I've tried says you have to do all the gauges in the cluster on a 997 - I only want the tach...
