I bought my 06 in early 07 for about 85K and the msrp was around 105k with 3000 miles on the clock. I think you got a smokin deal at 68k! Of course since the 997.2 is out now 997's have taken a bigger hit. I plan on keeping mine for quite a few years and miles of smiles....

I was pretty picky on the options....wanted ***. I had a hard time findng a low milegae car the way I wanted it. I drove the 09 and liked the sound (09 is too quiest and the direct injection ticks) and price of the 07. I couldn't justify the extra $$.

Yup, thanks!
Ended up selling the car to a fellow Rennlister;
Doesn't always have to be fishy.

Stopped by my local Porsche dealer on Florida's west coast. They had a 06' C4S Cab with 12,000 miles for $64,995. Original MSRP was $116,680, this was a CPO car. Came in on a new Turbo Cab trade. They did sell it in about 9 days. Thought this was a very good deal. No matter want some people might say, many dealers are just trying to cash-flow to stay in business. Things will get much worse before they are better.

Anyways, that's where the used car sales should be going next, however our dollar has also dropped, and while we are behind you guys so far, we're not that far behind.

What you post is accurate, but it's why a deflationary environment scares the hell out of economists. Consummers rightfully hesitate making purchases because whatever commodity they buy will cost much less a couple of weeks later. So they just don't buy anything until they perceive some price stability.
