I just went to a Porsche 997PDK track test event and the people there indicated that there was nothing in the short term for the turbo, and that they were under the impression that there would actually be a production gap for the GT3 & turbo at some point in the upcoming year or two (for a couple years) and then a newer model after that multi-year gap.

The gap filler for the spolight for Porsche is the Panamera. Reports are that it is HUGE, and was fully intended to destroy any potential competition for that niche of the market.

PDK for the 997mkII Turbo will come out for the MY10 car. Think late 09 release.

FWIW.......saw a new turbo at suncoast last weekend. No model year on the sticker but had the old tail lights and the -09 black PCM panel.
