Train wreck in Germany damages 18 new 997 - no injuries
Morning-after amateur shots from a train wreck that happened at 12:22 a.m. in Dillenburg (Germany) last night... one cargo train rear-ended another... no injuries... according to the report there were "106 luxury cars" on the train", of which "18 Porsche were severely damaged". No other information available yet.

you realise it is likely that some of these cars will end up with unsuspecting buyers!!! Dont want to think about that... Lets find out where those cars were going can we??

The cars will most likely not be sold or even the parts used. Read this article about a similar situation from mazda. Chances are that every car will be written off and recycled.

some parts in perfect shape will be used, just replacement parts. or the cars will be brought back to the factory and looked at for impacts in various locations. porsche will find a use of the money put into the cars

Maybe they will use the cars or PSDS. There are a lot of parts on those cars that are perfectly OK still.
