Very Nice! I really like that storage bin cover in leather. I wish I had gotten that option but I too had to skip a few options to keep the price semi-reasonable (I tried to keep it under $100K but didn't quite succeed). I got the full leather interior and rear center console in leather but not the storage bin cover. Does anyone know if you can order the leather storage bin cover as a dealer installed option?

Great car 997.2 guards red brother! Lol you can tell your wife that I also ordered the same seats on my car (black sports seats leather). So far I am loving them although I need to make sure I pack my *** correctly into the bucket part.

The only way to get the leather storage bin cover in leather (and, yes, it will have to have either the crest or the model logo) is to find someone (who has the same color interior as you do and who also ordered the bin cover in leather already) to order a replacement cover using their VIN. The replacement cover can then be installed in your car.
Contact me and I can slip you my VIN. Oops. Disregard. I think that part is different between a cabrio and a coupe.

Hey Nice car. Love that Guards Red. My first ever Porsche was a Guards red 944 way back in 1985 so I am partial to that color. Love the Red stitching, Enjoy your new baby.

Yeah it's natural brown. That's interesting that DanJK has a leather storage bin lid with no crest or model logo. I'm sure that the for 08 you could only get it in leather with either the crest or model logo. The crest would be ok since I don't have them on my headrests. I'll ask the dealer about it when I go to the launch party at Annapolis Porsche this Saturday. If they can't do it then I'll just live with my vinyl storage bin lid. It looks fine but it would be nicer to have stitching to match the center console.
