Funny reading this old post. Today in many Progressive cities like here in Seattle, Police can't stop vehicles w/o plates or with expired Tabs/etc. It's considered racist.
Who knew things would get so weird.
These days responsible drivers in Seattle need to have uninsured motorist insurance on their policy because 50% of the drivers have no insurance.

Reads like it was written by a bot.

Right now in California, a car dealer is required to mount a state issued temporary license plate (plastic not paper) so that all LEO will recognize the status of licensing and toll cameras will recognize the car and send the bill to the right address. Driving on the road with no license plate gets a LEO stop and explanation is then required.

https://njmcdirect.support/. it is important to prioritize safety while operating a vehicle and to follow all traffic laws to avoid receiving future tickets.
For your information, it was not written by the bot. Because bots don't travel on roads and know the traffic laws.
Thank you ..!!

What the...? You're purposely driving without any plates, and you're asking whether this ticket makes sense? Without the front plate, I can understand, but no plates whatsoever? You don't think a car with no plates (not even a valid temp tag) draws attention from LEOs? Or do you think a Porsche should be exempt? C'mon...
