Default PDK Paddles Coming

I understand that Porsche will be forthcoming with a redesign to the PDK function buttons on the steering wheel, i.e., ""paddles." Film at eleven.

funny, after driving an M3 and M5 with paddles back to back with the PDK , I much prefer the PDK "buttons". More intuitive and better placed in my opinion.

Same buttons are visible on spy shots of Cayenne redesign as well.

I test drove the PDK couple of times and the PDK switches/paddles are EZ to get used to . Also when driving in a relaxed fashion with steering wheel in one hand both paddles can be operated, and they feel better than the switches/paddles in the BMW 335

Why would they do this? You mean to tell me they spend all this time on research and development to perfect the PDK and they are going to scap the design. I find that hard to believe. I wouldn't go eating any apples from this person who fed you this information either.

If I was running Porsche, I'd do it. A $1486 option to get paddles installed along with/instead of the thumb buttons on the wheel.

Satisfy the whiners and make a nice profit. Win-win.
